Our Story

The Goodfellas Project began when a group of students from South Lyon, Michigan were discussing their compassion for low income and homeless individuals. We understand economically disadvantaged individuals and families have complex life stories, and many factors contributed to their current status. Medical bills, addiction, lay-offs, and other unexpected life events can alter the course of a life.

As a result, we developed an organization to engage student volunteers to assist low income and homeless individuals.  The Goodfellas Project is dedicated to helping those in unfavorable situations because of complex life challenges.

Structurally, we are a student-led, 501(c)(3) charitable organization seeking to positively impact the lives of low-income and homeless families.

Our Vision

We strive to create a world in which students inspire others to serve those in need.

Our Mission

The Goodfellas Project is passionate about helping low-income and homeless families through various service projects. Our focus is to engage our fellow peers in acts of service that help supply food, clothing, and other necessities to those less fortunate.

We aim to expand our reach by carrying out operations around the greater Southeast Michigan region such as Pontiac and Detroit.

Meet Our Team

This is our leadership team that oversees all organizational operations.
